Tuesday Afternoons
Hello there! It's another day to the middle of the week, so hang tight everyone! :)
I'm really hungry right now, for no reason whatsoever, and it's really annoying me because today I had a baked potato- and a period later I was hungry and had Tom Yam Soup and Rice...which was at about 1. And now it's hitting 6p.m. and I'm positively starving. I have no idea why. I've eaten a Ginger Snap (It's gingerbread cookies, basically. Just thinner and more...gingery?) had a couple of peanuts and a macadamia or two thinking that the sugar would just stop my insolent stomach but it's like "LOL NOPE!" Either way I'm really pressing on to not reach for a slice of bread just to alleviate the hunger.
Basically went to College for 1 period today- GP. It was a really interesting Lecture :) I've started to sit with my class too (affectionately known as the Civics Group) but still prefer hanging out with my OG because I'm really more familiar with them. Spent the morning doing my Literature re-write and then watching Mulan with F on my laptop :P It was a fun day basically. Had lunch with the OG in school too :) I swear the guys really eat A LOT. I have never seen a person eat two portions of the same meal with rice, meat, veggies and more meat- Count on Wacky M to do it but it was really just a jaw-dropping realization for me that guys really do eat a lot! The effect of a single sex school education is finally catching up with me.
Good news is that GREY'S HEAD HAS ARRIVED (thank god it didn't get lost on the way from America) and in one piece. :) It's a little more yellow than I'd have liked but the resin match isn't too far off, and besides, I'm having more problems than that right now. The problems began with the eyes- the eyes were originally half closed. Then opened by the first owner, and remodeled to half closed by the second owner, and finally bought by me. Problem is, the Milliput/Epoxy INSIDE the eyewells of the doll were really quite uneven, and to get the eyes I had to fit I basically had to get my pen knife out and scrape away the excess.
The main problem is that THE HEAD CANNOT GO ONTO MY CUSTOMHOUSE BODY. Yes, stupidly enough, the O-ring that is on the Customhouse Body does not fit through the Soom Head opening QwQ And now I've to buy one from someone else, then have to solve the problem of taking the O-ring OUT and then...ARGHHH it's just so agonizing. I'm trying to get some advice now but I really loathe the idea of having to Re-string grey because of the bloody O-ring. Geez, I am not looking forward to the day I have to do that to Robyn, if ever.
Tomorrow I'll be going for Softball trials, and I hope I do as well as I did 4 years ago to get me in at least. This also means that any moment now, I ought to be scrambling to find my glove...presuming I can remember where the hell I put it.
