High-Lite

What an amazing week. Really, it's had it's own surprises but what a truly gorgeous week. (Especially Saturday- I had a great. Amazing. Saturday.) I haven't been posting much because I've been mostly writing all the thoughts in my head into my usual black book (It's not as harrowing as it sounds, it just so happens to be a book with good enough a gram of paper and a hardcover.)

Anyway my highlights for the week- Phantom of the Opera. Addams Family. Two dolls and a doll body arriving safely. One more doll body bought at a good price, Macarons, seeing my grandparents, discovering the place I've been dreaming of in Singapore, etc. It was basically amazing with most of the events clustered shamelessly on Saturday :P I'm hoping to grab a pair of sneakers in black by today and paint them tonight? So I can wear them to school tomorrow. Galaxy Obsession = Galaxy Shoes. Got myself a new wallet as well :) It says "Do more of what makes you Happy". So relevant, that it makes me smile when I see it. Kudos who whoever thought of putting that on a wallet (Unless the hidden meaning here is if you're happy shopping shop more.)

PHANTOM OF THE OPERA! Was amazing. Watched it on Tuesday with a FULL HOUSE, sitting third row from the stage (squeal!!) and the famous chandelier hanging precariously over my head. I have to admit, the amount of moving parts and set this play has is absolutely wonderful. The amount of mechanics, and stage set ups and all that fluff are just captivating and you'd have to be there to see it. The MBS theatre isn't big, so I'd recommend going as long as you can get a seat. Optimal seats to see the whole stage, however, would be as close to the lighting and sound box as possible- for MBS it's in the middle of the theatre, so it's really very optimal. However, plus points of sitting so up front is that you see everything and experience everything so fully. The terror of watching the Chandelier swing down from above your head and crash onto the stage is horrific, even if you're already aware it's coming. Beautiful operas and a beautiful cast, so well done.

Okay so Saturday played out in it's own optimal way, and I fixed myself scones and tea for breakfast. Plus point one, because I was teaching English later that day and it made me feel like a sir. Came home after teaching to a home cooked lunch and the Dolls I had been waiting for to have arrived! :) Such a great box opening, and I got to enjoy myself fully (in the process of squealing and the such). Hurried off to RWS to watch Addams then rushed home and was brought out again by my parents TO MY DREAM PLACE- It's basically Freemantle Market in Singapore. Had my Northern Indian Food FIx and went to shop around. It was amazing. Ended off the evening by buying a toffee apple cider- which the family liked so much within 2 minutes we turned around and walked back for 12 bottles of it.

Can't wait for this week, even though exams are starting up again. How has your week been?

xoxo
