How to celebrate an 18th Birthday
It really depends on what kind of person you are- the focus of my birthday for me wasn't the initiation into adulthood, buying alcohol and passing out, staying overnight somewhere or partying till the sun rises- rather my focus were the people who have allowed me to progress this far without major mishap or issues.
That said, this post has honestly no instruction guide on how to celebrate it, as the title suggests. Rather, it's the way I would spent it, and how I would probably spend it the same way again.

Over the weekend I passed my great 1-8, which only comes once and so I can say I'm a little more legal than I was last week. Among the major things you can do here, at the ripe old age of 18, are Drinking, Smoking, Driving, and watching M18 movies. To me, the major thing is the movies and the driving. I'm not entirely keen on drinking much, and smoking is waaaaay deep into the No-zone. Mostly because it smells bad enough from a distance, and it's really horrible for your body. It's a choice, of course, to consume it if you want to. But either way, I'm quite happy- it also means I can travel alone at my leisure, facilitating my possible trip down to Australia or London in June to visit my cousins.
(I'm writing this while sitting in the cockpit, waiting for people to throw all the attendance at me for the day- thus this act isperfectly legal.)
After mulling it over with my mother, we decided to hold it at Hard Rock- only the most rad place I think, to have a birthday party. It's really got all the best Rock'n Roll things going for it and the entire place is guitars wood and pure awesomeness. And Then came the guest list. Family? Friends? Everyone? I really mulled this one over. As much as it would have been awesome to invite every single person I am friends with or am close to, I didn't think it was quite necessary- heck the 10 people I invited were enough to handle socially XD I invited the 10 people in my life who have truly impacted me most, or have shown me the way through tough times and been emotional supports or whatever the hell it is, but these people are my peoples :') I don't even know how they stand me. I really don't. But they are a group of truly amazing people who just go out of their way, and went out of their way, to put a smile on my face.
And for the first time in ever, or at all- the faces of my people! :'D From the left to the right, Ray, Sham, Lancelot, B, G, J, N, M, Lya! These people have been here for varying amounts of time, but they've been here, regardless of the time stamp. I was so happy to have them all here, G and J had like a zillion tests but they made time to come down for my birthday anyway and celebrate with me :') Thank you two sweeties. And they've been dating for 4 years now is that not flipping adorable? :'D Ya'll melt my soul you two. Ray who has been here for me for better or for worse, or to annoy the fudge out of me at school, and make me into a princess (With the sweetest hairband in the world?) Lancelot and B, my bros forever and ever and ever, although occasionally they take the time to piss me off, but the awesomest bros ever (We had a sleepover recently, and it involved the PS2, Singing, and watching copious amounts of Adventure time and eating heaps of over-salted popcorn). Worth every moment, I'm very sure. Sham, my gaming buddy, emotional support and everlasting mad man. What would I do without your wit and heaps of concern? Lya, spazz buddy emotion buddy buddy buddy woman of the hour everything and anything. Just the power woman. :') M and G, two people who have always taken time off to laugh at me....or to comment on something stupid I've done in my face.

And my cake on the right OH MY GOD SUCH A BEAUTIFUL CHOCOLATE CAKE :'D It's got a real royal dalton tea cup on top, such a pretty gorgeous thing I finally get to use myself :D Heehee. it had sugar flowers and it was pink and then before I continue, YT. :') Gosh YT we have had too much fun together and I hope I was there for you like you were there for me, my crazy woman my inspiration to keep going and keep trying and keep achieving and to keep dreaming. My friends got me so many amazing things, I now have a Jake Snapback and everything- Gosh I wish I had time to blog more extensively right now so I'll continue tomorrow :)
