Smouldering Heatwave
WHY IS IT SO HOT AND HAZY AND HUMID AT HOME?! *insert frustrated wailing and grumbling here* Geez I already miss the cool floors of my lodgings in Perth and how I froze wearing my jumpers out. Now it's too hot to wear jumpers at all. Send me back, I implore you.
Anyway, HELLOW! I'm back in Singapore after a great great time in Perth. I'm trying to sort out image uploading now, since I'm back on my own mac and very comfortable having done so! I'm seriously asking myself where to start on recounting my trip. But I'll break it up a little so I have more to blog over the next few days :) First off I'm going to post a pic of Freemantle, because the market is gorgeous and everything is just Snappy there. That was just last week. Like, 7 days ago. Now that's depressing. Anyway here's the picture on the right :D It's such a lovely place! The moment you walk in it's the normal market side. After that it's all the shops with tea and popcorn and stuff. I'm glad I just figured out how to reposition the pictures on my blog eheheheh whoops.

Okay Sunday was my first day of serious shopping at Hay Street and stuff, already rambled about that on the Post prior to this, so I'm hopping on to Margret River. Okay basically it's pretty anti-climatic because the actual river itself is quite boring looking :/ But the place is really famous for it's wine and dairy. So that's why I was there- Wine and cheese. Anyway the drive down is an excrutiating two and a half hours, but that's really okay because we stopped off at Busselton, which basically looks like the picture on the left. A really scenic, beachside area. I mean we weren't going to hang about for long but it has the longest wooden pier, about 2km out into the sea and wow it's really just very pretty here. The four houses in the distance are kind of like a museum thing and they have the most adorable way of making the walk down the pier less painful... BY ADDING A TOTALLY ADORABLE TRAIN RIDE THING.
It's pretty much this fancy looking old train thing that goes down the whole pier and is amazingly cute and adorable. And guess what, It's 2.50 per ride. I don't know about anyone else but if I had time that day I would have gotten on that train, because it basically has to turn around and come back and stuff :D The train driver waved at me HEEHEE it was just so so so cool.
Okay hopping quickly along, BREWERY. Like the Beer kind. That's exactly where I went- the Bootleg Brewery. I'm not kidding when I say that's the name of the place I went to. It was lovely and cold out and I finally got off the bus, I kept confusing the smells of Pine and Eucalypts and it smelled very good everywhere, basically. They had beer served out in shot glasses because technically it was a beer tasting, and i must say they have the best Apple Cider that I have ever tasted, because it's light and sweet and crisp. Of course that wasn't the only thing I drank- and I probably drank more than I should have, with my mother's blessings. Anyway they served up these godawesome fries and a cheese platter with cold cuts and bread and everything to prevent people from getting drunk too fast. Which was fun in it's own way.
There's another half of this day to go, but I'm not going to bombard people so WAIT TILL TOMORROW FOR THE REST :3 I also just edited and added pictures to day 1 and 2 :D
xoxo
