One and Two.
Hellew there! (Yay! I'm blogging after the first two! :D) It's been plenty, plenty of fun and I haven't been able to grab pictures of ALL my hauls yet, but I promise I'll provide pictures as I go along with my trip. But, then again, being the slightly flashy person i am, I'd tell you to get faster updates by following me on Instagram :P Insta follow me here. Anyway yes it's been wonderful and cool over here being a closing-into-winter-season thing and I've already found PLENTY of reasons to be back here every June! Not as boring or quiet, I guarantee you. And yes, plenty to shop for. It's raining right now so WHOOOP cold.
(Okay basically Blogger is not agreeing with me at the moment, so once I figure out how to upload my photos directly to my blog? I'll insert them into the posts. For now, go to the instagram!)
Arrived at Midnight in Perth, so wonderful and cool- and my mom takes the wrong luggage. Hugely epic because we seriously nearly went back to my cousins place with it, and we only noticed once we were out at the carpark. Was quite a shock and pissed off my dad a mighty bit (HARHARHAR) anyway after we managed to get our luggage back we came back to my Cousin's place and rested up, because the next day was gonna be an epic one.
Okay no photos just yet but TUCKSHOP. Oh, my god. The food. The Chips. The food. Everything was amazing, and if you have not tried bubble and squeak (this is a really cute name for like a veggie patty in what looks like those fried fish finger shells) this is the place to head to, I guess. They have a vanilla pod shake to die for :D Best that I've had yet. Seriously. It was so yummy! I had this cod thing with the yummiest wholewheat cheese sammich <3 it was soooo good. (if my typing is really messed up, I am not used to this keyboard and my engrish is getting to me.) After that, I finally got to roam about one of my favourite places, freemantle market. It's one hell of a place. One half market, one half super-aussie flea. Okay it's not really a Flea Per Se, it just reminds me of one. It has like Pepperoni for sale and Iron on badges (from Dr. Who to 1 Direction to like the Rolling Stones.) and Cupcakes and Popcorn (the most delish salt and vinegar!) and wow wow wow you have to come here!
(I had originally intended to do up this post on sunday/Monday but as you can see I totally delayed and am now reduced to typing this on my mobile. Whatever the case is, I'm hoping this works.)
Freemantle is a gorgeous place, obviously. But these are the pics from Saturday!
The next day is a CRAZY one. We head down to Hay Street after some brekkie at home and shop like madness. Basically that's me, and my parents, with a boot (like a car boot) full of purchases. The first thing I see is Meyer's. Okay I've never been to Meyers? And then they throw me this dress that looks too damn good to Miss out on and YES depsite the price, I totally caved in and bought it. Anyway its a really gorgeous dress. I'm avoiding pic spam so onward! I find that theres this brand of Makeup called chi chi which has a similiar set of foundation / base make up stuff for daily wear that mimics that of bare escentuals ( I don't know how to spell that) and its half...or a third of the price. I'm still looking to buy it, because I didn't that day. The day goes on with my mom getting two pairs of shoes, my dad one, and me none! (HINT HINT FOR A SHOE HAUL). Anyway finally got a leather skirt, went by typo and bought stuff too (the most adorable stamp that says tres cool) and like...I've forgotten what else I bought but you get the point right.
Evening was Dinner at my Dad's Lecturer's house. His wife is French so FRENCH FOOOOD (she's a marvellous cook by all accounts, really.) I'm just going to scurry on this short choppy post about margret river, which I finally went to after the longest time! Went to a brewery that has the most wonderful crisp apple cider EVER (1000 points to Bootleg Brewery) and also has very lovely chips. (by chips I mean French fries. But chunkier.) Had a sumptuous lunch there and then went down to the Mammoth Cave (got surrounded by h2 geog.) Very pretty stalactites and slagamites!
I shall continue this ramble on my trip when I get back from garden city. Till then!
XOXO
