Beautiful ♡
It has been a truly beautiful day for me. In so many ways.
I finally celebrated the big 2M (it's a lot to me okay) with the BF today~ It was really awesome and great- despite the dampening tuition earlier in the day. Besides that-
Met up with him and took a stroll to the MRT to get down to the Goemon in town, at citylink. I swear by their Mentaiko Ao-Shiso , it's so good and it's so perfectly yummy- so that's what we settled for for lunch. That cutie paid for lunch today! Okay call me a sucker for a free lunch from anyone, but from him it's uber suber duper special and it means a lot to me, because no one else does that except my family :3
I also found this awesome smiggle eraser. I have like a whole family of animals on my lamp, and today I got him this cube fortune-telling one. It's really funny because we asked a few questions (That will not, can not and will never be mentioned to anyone because it's too damn mean/insulting/hillarious) which agreed with our opinions and stuff and it was just madness. It's really fun just walking aimlessly with him- don't need to talk, or be doing something crazy, I guess the quiet moments are just as fantastic.
We head over to the esplanade, they're having this really really cool installment there with kitties and dogs all made in red and white, and there are so many of them! Super adorable- then we walked up to this amazing location there (I choose to keep this place mum, because I know that people will just flood there and maybe kinda sorta ruin it's awesomeness. Not saying that they necessarily will, I just feel it's kinda special to me and I want to keep it ZIP) and it has this gorgeous view.
Stupid sun nearly ruined everything. Why is this country so hot ugh.
Walked over to Merlion park- I've never really been there to just stroll but succumbed and bought a frostbite Popsicle there- another one of those things I swear by. They have an outlet at Suntec, and if you're like me where ANY day you'd take a Popsicle over an ice cream? Please head over and enjoy. I'm a sucker for the chocolate caramel, but the flavours of the Popsicles are just OH SO GOOD. Today's selection was Pineapple Orange.
I did the most interesting thing ever after that. It's by far the cutest most awesomest mode of transport for a person you're really happy to be around and close to. I mean, how else to get from Merlion Park to the Esplanade in a more adorable way than taking the river cruise? :D So the ride was only like 5 minutes but it was so much fun, and it was just better than walking or a train or a bus it just was so please, GO, TRY IT. It was so much FUN I can't even-
Headed over to MBS after talking about it for like 100000000 years (okay 4 months but still it felt like forever with O Levels and Exams and stuff) and saw the new place, Au Chocolat. Now if you haven't been to MBS recently, and you love chocolate, and you're willing to spend money to get good chocolatey goodness, there's the place to be. With it's 6 layer Chocolate Tower cake (It's on my instagram, go find it or something LOL @Raspberry_rott / Magisteraya I can't remember) it's just fabulous. Do not underestimate the Tiramisu either, it's just as good. It was a Gelato place and a sweet shoppe and a Chocolate Shop and a Candy Shop it's just WHEEEEE all the way (Yes today's post is INSANELY bimbo, I can't help it I'm too happy.)
It was a really great day, I feel fat because of all we ate (Come on, Domino's for Dinner? Not good.) So tomorrow is the 20km+ Cycle with Lancelot who was so kind as to mock me for his O levels being over (eff you too, My other Half and my OTP darling), but then Nando's tomorrow evening and Entre Nous in the afternoon?
I KNOW tomorrow is going to be a good day too. I can't help but love the people who make these days great and fantastic. Thanks again, BF, for all the love and support and good times :)
